About ECF
Our Story
Ellion Crest Foundation was born out of personal experience, faith, resilience, and a desire to create lasting change.
Founder Tilly Tonga returned to Zambia after many years living and working in South Africa. Upon returning home, she witnessed firsthand the challenges facing many communities: youth unemployment, limited educational opportunities, poverty, and a lack of practical skills training.
Rather than seeing these challenges as obstacles, they became the foundation for a larger vision.
The vision was to create an organization dedicated to empowering individuals through education, practical skills development, entrepreneurship, and community support systems that encourage self-reliance rather than dependency.
That vision became Ellion Crest Foundation.
Today, ECF Africa is working to establish programs and partnerships that create sustainable pathways for individuals and families to improve their lives while contributing positively to their communities.
